Flight of snowboards: two arrests in Bromont

Two individuals from Sherbrooke were pinned by the Bromont Police Service for stealing five snowboards at Bromont, Mountain of Experiences (BME).
“Our police were alerted by someone who had just been stolen his board, said Jean Bourgeois, director of the police service. They spotted the thieves and arrested them in BME’s parking lot and, after a search of the vehicle, seized five planks that had been stolen. ”

The two suspects, aged 20 and 22, were also seized their vehicle, for a period of thirty days, since the driver’s license was sanctioned.

They have been released under certain conditions and will have to appear later. The Bromont Police Service reminds skiers and snowboarders to lock their equipment.
