Drunk driving with a little girl on board
A roadblock stopped an inebriated female driver who was driving in a vehicle with her 10-year-old girl on Saturday night.
The 31 year old woman was intercepted in Saint-Honoré as part of a roadblock of the Sûreté du Québec.
The driver had to undergo the breathalyzer test. She blew a rate of nearly 300 milligrams of alcohol per 100 milliliters of blood.
The woman has been arrested and will have to appear in the next few weeks. A report was made to the Directorate of Youth Protection (DPJ).
Abilities weakened by drugs
The drug consumption of a 21-year-old woman could have had tragic consequences on Sunday night. The driver under the influence of cannabis made a road trip with her vehicle while she was driving on the Boulevard Martel in Saint-Honoré around 21h. No other vehicles were involved.
The woman had to be transported to the hospital to treat minor injuries. Blood samples were taken. She will also face impaired driving charges.
