Bernard Sevigny will launch his book on September 24

Former Mayor Bernard Sevigny will launch his book on municipal governance on September 24th. The book, published by Marcel Broquet, is entitled The Municipal Aquarium.
Thelaunch will be held in the early evening at the Museum of Nature and Science. Mr. Sévigny, joined by La Tribune , does not want to address the content of the book before it is found in bookstores. The preface is signed by former Minister of Municipal Affairs and Land Occupancy Martin Coiteux.

Recall that Mr. Sévigny was a municipal councilor with being elected Mayor of Sherbrooke in 2009. He also acted as President of the Union of Quebec Municipalities. Initiating the downtown revitalization process leading to the Well Inc. project, now called Quartier Well Sud, the former leader of the Sherbrooke Renewal was defeated in the 2017 elections by current mayor Steve Lussier.

Bernard Sévigny has not granted an official interview since his departure from City Hall nearly two years ago.
